It was just a suitable option for a cursory stop in Midway with a good price-quality ratio. The desk clerk was friendly at check-in, making us feel welcomed after a long drive. Make sure to check in early if you need assistance at the front desk.

The overnight staff made a noticeable difference in our experience. Tremayne was particularly exceptional, as he found us a double room when no others were available, even after initially arranging for rollaway beds. However, the surrounding noise from nearby establishments was disruptive at times, detracting from our comfort. Although the room was fine, the noise from the liquor store and chicken place across the street could be quite loud, impacting our overall relaxation.

The bed was comfortable, but the smoke detector was hanging by a wire.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

Enjoyed our stay in the spacious King Room. the bed provided great comfort after our long drive. However, breakfast left much to be desired, and the shower pressure could be better. For future travelers, consider dining offsite for a better meal and check room conditions upon arrival.

The breakfast was alright and the staff were genuinely nice which made starting my day much more pleasant. it’s just a short drive to both Lake Talquin State Park and Lake Talquin State Forest, perfect for weekend strolls and stunning nature views.

The hotel was conveniently located near Florida State University, making it easy for us to catch some fun events. The spacious room allowed our family, including two teenagers, to spread out comfortably after a busy day. We also enjoyed some quality family time at the nearby adventure course zip line.

In my wife’s opinion, the pool was a huge letdown since it was closed for maintenance. It would have been awesome to have that option available for the kids to cool off, especially during our stay in the warm weather.

Comfortable room, helpful amenities, the lady I'm not shift Tracy was amazing and made check-in easy. The wi-fi was reliable which helped me stay connected during my trip.

The warm cookies at check-in set the tone for a pleasant stay. Our clean and spacious room made every moment feel cozy and inviting.

However, the lack of hot water was quite disappointing. It made our morning routines a bit hectic and frustrating during our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially thanks to the staff who went above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast was delightful with a good variety, and my room was modern and comfortably furnished. The only downside was the loud air conditioning unit that disrupted my sleep at times.
